narrative: Well after arriving late to the base (my girl just wouldnt let me outta bed) I found myself alone on the airfield and decided to join up with my squad already in flight.
This however turned out to be a problem due to someone (possibly belgian scum spy's) sabotaged my Fuel Tanks with Sugar. This in turn caused my plane to freeze in mid air and I think I had a UFO experience because I found myself warped back at the main base. This happened about 4 times. Finally I was able to get over 10 miles away from base when I spotted an enemy n17 (#4) I engaged him right outside of nieuport. I could have taken him down but decided not to because of being so close to an enemy base and spotting another enemy plane comming towards me. So I fled when... roughly about 5 miles from base the plane once again froze and those damn aliens came again and warped me back to base.
I WAS SO MAD!
Well after waiting another 10 minutes I decided to give the plane 1 more try... Arriving back on the airfield the sirens were going off and I spotted the enemy plane. I took off gained on him and fired. I got a few shots on him. He tried to come back around and missed me by inches. I then tried to bank breaking my left wing tips which made the plane difficult to control (Once again I think Sabotage) so I decided to go back to base when ONCE AGAIN THE DARN ENGINE FROZE...So while waiting for the aliens to come and warp me again, the engine restarted. This time I was in a nose dive towards the ground.. I managed to pull up just in time for my wheels to hit the deck.
The plane rolled end over end once and landed upright. The wings were not destroyed and I had a long walk back home...

narrative: After getting into my plane...and talking with #9, a mechanic rushed out and alerted me to a problem. I got out of my plane, tried to get into another plane, another mechanic told me to get out of that plane, something about spilled coffee on the seat. Needless to say, I tried a third plane, with no luck. I left for the barracks after that, and played solitaire. I am hoping the planes will be "patched" up for session number 3. Rissanfrassan....

narrative: Flying with only my CO we encountered a lone Nieuport machine harrassing one of our Roland machines. We dove on the Belgian and managed to put some shots into the plane but do to the machine's superior climing ability he escaped. Later that day we encountered a Sopwith Strutter that was engaged with our #5 man who was late getting up. Putting some rounds in the machine #5 stalled his machine and fell to the Earth but to our relief he emerged from the wreckage unharmed. My attention turned to the strutter and I mangaged to damage his elevator surfaces and his lower wing surface. He stalled his machine and crashed near a bridge a few miles South East of Roulers airfield.

narrative: On first patrol, spotted two scouts and single 2 seater at distance. Did not engage. After our encounter with the two scouts, our flight proceeded on its assigned patrol. We suddenly came across an enemy scout attacking on of our two seaters at low altitude. We managed to shake him off the tail of the two seater but could do no more. Our AlbD2s were no match for the N17 and we decided not to risk a prolonged engagment. After assuring ourselves that the enemy was shaken from our two seater, we returned to friendly territory.
Second patrol, engaged one enmy scout. Scout did not seem to have markings of either a N11 or n17. Did not notice scout number either. #9 and #5 shared this kill with #9 getting the final shots.
On third patrol, after my flight mates experienced engine trouble, I found myself alone over enemy territory. i made my way back alone at high altitude. Over the front, I passed two N11s on their way to belgian teritory. I was tepted to fire at the rear N11 but, after he spotted me, I merely saluted the pilot and turned away for home.

In server at start meched once an entered again about 5 or 10min later.
Took off on patrol from AF with flight leader and second. We patrolled our sector and hear sirens only once. Never did see anything. I developed engine trouble and had to put down at a near by AF. When they discovered the problem I again took off. I flew the patrol route but never ran into them again. I did however run into a 2-seater (#17) trying to sneak across the lines. I dove on him and put several rounds into him until he went down over the front. I then heard another plane and looked around saw another plane. Followed and tried to catch up as I thought it was another bomber. It turned out to be one but a friendly one. I then headed back over friendly territory to gain alt. I continued patrol and then just as I was turning back N after reaching the end of my route I saw 4 planes. Bells, then Sirens were going off so I thought that was not a good sign. I then saw AA firing at them and decided I had better leave. They lost some alt and I thought that they might be some bombers with an escort or two so having alt I turned back. Not a good choice. Because it turned out to be 4 scouts. I headed N gaining alt thinking I could stay above them. However they eventually caught up and started taking long shots. I waited for them to get close then turned and took one pass then headed for the dirt. I landed near one of our AF making a good landing and proceeded to be strafed. They didn't however destroy the plane as I watched from a small depression in the ground holding my bleeding forearm. # 13, 16, 10, and I didn't catch the other number. S! to them.

Uneventfull mission overall. Early on did get visual on enemy being fired on by AA, near Werivic but the got away as they were higher and a bit faster.

narrative: First mission went quite smoothly. No HA in sight. Returned to home base with photographs. My landing was hard and spun me around 90 degrees. However,upon instant inspection of plane no damage was observed. (Note: fps has been dropping to less than 10 when getting near objects. This was my first session using the detail tweak which I think I'll need to remove.)
I proceeded to my refueling stop for the second sortie. After refueling I started out heading deep into enemy territory. At first all looked good. Before I could get to the target I spotted 4 HA. I instantly headed for home and dove to the ground to land in case they had spotted me. HA #10 buzzed down and put shots into me as I was landing at an abandoned enemy drome. Landing gear and part of the lower wing were destroyed upon landing. I am scribbling this quick note and sending it with my last pidgeon before attempting to destroy my plane and make it back to the lines on foot.

narrative: Flew in company with #13. 13 got his pictures and we headed for my targets when I spotted an enemy aircraft at the drome below us, and then 1 or 2 above us. I signalled 13 to turn north but he had gotten to far from me to see my signals. The enemy scouts got onto him and I dove in to cover him. I signalled "return-to-base" which he acknowledged and we started a running fight headed for the front. Both enemy crates Nieuport #4 and #5 concentrated on me then #4 broke off after 13. I was weaving and swerving to throw off my attacher's aim and waste his ammo when my rudder jammed and the Roland began a slow flat spin into the ground, exploding on impact in NML.

narrative: 1 sortie-Left Drome w/Co flew to xxxxx to refuel, proceded to targets,photos 2,edgaged enmy Co was shot down, not sure by whom was running for base they persued for a while then broke off. 2nd sortie-left base flew to xxxx to refuel went to target area photo 1, decided it was safer to fly home as to press deeper into enmys side rtb never saw enmy this time.

narrative: Reconed four targets in my assigned area. On my second sortie, I saw on of our D2's down an nme ac, but I was to far away to see what type. Otherwise, an uneventful night.
