narrative: On first patrol, our flight spotted a lone enemy scout some distance from us and at altitude. We gave
chase. Despite the fact that the enemy was in a faster machine, and could have easily escaped us, I was shocked to see
him suddenly bank, dive and head straight into our formation - and straight at me! Head on passes are insane in an
online environment. Luckly - we missed by just a few feet - as I pulled underneath him. I was very glad to watch this
mad man get shot down by my flight. Enemy scout #5 went down under the guns of our #5 and #4.
Later in the flight, we spotted two contacts at low level. I orders the flight to split and engage. Unfortunately, I
underestimated the speed of the N17s, and we lost far too much altitude trying to catch them. By that time, our well
executed attack had desintegrated into chaos.
The fight went even worse, with these two scouts scoring multiple hits on many of us. Ultimately, one was forced down
while the other climbed away. Our #3 strafed their #8 until his engine exploded. No kill was credited by the server but
the aircraft was completely destroyed (and I recomend that full credit be given to #3).
On our way back to base, our #4 was horrified to discover he had lost one of his wheels in a minor collision with one
of the N17s. We watched as he attempted to bring his aircraft down on the runway. Slowly, he eased the left wheel down
then - bang - the right axel caught the ground. The aircraft tumbled and horrified, we watched as every wing ripped off.
Sad and dejected, the rest of the flight touched down.
The rest of the day proved uneventfull.

narrative: After experiencing some engine trouble over the front I retreated to my drome and fixed the problem.
I then rejoined my flight of 5 gentlemen and we proceeded towards Leffrinckhauke to hunt for the enemy. Just east of
Leffrinckhauke we spotted 3 low. One turned towards the field due to enigne failure I assume. We stalked the others
and attacked in an unorganized fashion. The battled lasted for a seven minutes. The fight was a near disaster.
Both n17s proved difficult to overcome. While #8 was chasing one of our planes I shot his upper wing and the structure
tore from the plane. He managed to land just east of his base. I proceeded to strafe him until I finally shot his prop
off rendering him useless. The other N17 was able to disengage from the fight. During the engagment #4 lost a wheel and
died while trying to land his plane. He will be sorely missed by all as he was J18's first casualty.

narrative: Took off from base flew to designated point, ran into 5 low on the ground. Four and myself engaged and
shot the crap out of him, four scoring the kill. We then continuted our patrol and ran into enemy 7, 8 (I think). The
two scouts took the four of us for a run where we barely made it out alive. We, predominantly 3 forced 8 down and shot
his wings off, like a kid playing with a fly. At that point, our 4 reported missing gear and we returned to base.
Unfortunately, much to the demise and distress of our squad, four didn't make it. The gear was weaker than anticipated.
By the time I landed the fire squad put out the remnants of clothe and wood. He will be missed, sorely.
We took off for our second sorti, which was uneventful.

narrative: Flew in formation into allied territory on 1st flight and we were attacked by a lone allied pilot that was
quickly brought down, later in the fkight we we attacked 2 allied N17's in what I thought would be a turkey shoot. wrong!
After the initial pass in which I followed wmy wingman. It only took me a second to realize that these were 2 experienced
pilots even as the entire Sq. got into the melee we were fighting for our lives! I had one on my six and no matter what I
did I could not shake him! If my Sq. mates had not drove him off my 6 and forced him to defend himself I would not be
writing this report. We finally forced 1 of the machines down as the the other used his superior climbing ability to
escape us. I landed at the nearest drome to repair my leaking fuel tank and make some other emergengy repairs then
continued on to our drome. On our 2nd mission I developed morwe engine trouble and returned to the drome for more
permenant repairs.

narrative: Found a 2-seater over one of our factories in the south, engaged and shot him dead in his seat. Later
Ulhan suggested trying to take some heat off our men in enemy territory and i agreed. We found a lone wolf belgian(#14)
and I engaged after shooting him a little bit he dove low and I ordered Uhlan to kill him, which he did do after a long
attemped escape by the belgian who seemed to have a damaged engine.
Then Ulhan had engine trouble and I had to escape enemy territory alone. I got cocky at 4K and decided to try to lure
any enemies to my side. In the course of my egress i saw 5 unknown contacts and decided to not even get close.
Found Ulhan and attemped to re-intercept as we returned to base but did not find them again.

Claims: #14
narrative: Took off with CO and scouted for enemy aeroplanes. Near factory atRoubaix we saw AA fire and flew down to
investigate. CO spotted the enemy crate and went after him while I watched for his friends. CO dispatched the enemy
crate, and as he climbed back up, I overflew the factory, and confirmed that it was damaged. We scouted a while longer
and returned to base for petrol.
Took off and went into enemy territory to find our friends that should have been out-bound by now. We encountered a
lone Nieuport in Escadrille 5 colors headed SW towards Clairmarais. Pen and I pounced him and Pen signalled to attack as
he pulled up to cover. I got onto the enemy crate (#14) and pummeled him until he lost control and crashed.
We continued our patrol when I meched. Heading out again, I spotted someone inbound and flew down to investigate
finding #7 looking worst for wear. I headed back into enemy territory along the path I expected to find Pen on. I
spotted a lone spot overhead and eastbound and began climbing after it. Feeling it had to be Pen, I fired short bursts
in an attempt to get its attention. Eventually, the gent upstairs came about and arranged to come down on my 6.
I watched, ready to break instantly if it wasn't friendly. It turned out to be Pendragon after all. We flew
over St Marguerite and then landed at Wervicq without seeing anything else.

narrative: Took off with #8 landed at XXXX to refuel, waited, took off with #8 to target area engaged and the enemy.
We had to return and land at Ghistelles running from the enemy, who left, not sure what happend to 8 so I left for target
area again and flew to designated area 1. Reconned 4 targets flew to target area 2 and got 1 photo before spotting enemy
above an below. Didnt waste time heading for friendly territory. Got shot up pretty good running. Drew them a little way
in to our territory, believe 12 was one of them. After they broke off I flew on and landed at an active base to turn in
my pix.

narrative: Had first run interupted by someone, just wanted to put the bird on the ground. Landed beside Flugelmutter
and proceeded to have a nasty time with engine. Stray bullet must have hit it! Once I replaced the engine with some quick
work I decided that I must make another run for targets but my time was short and I'd have to be daring to pull it off.
Well to make a long story short, I made it there and back and had a great time, But my neck hurts from watching my backside
continuously. Didn't see anyone the entire flight and my new engine just sputtered and spurted here and there. S! all and
Good Night!!!
