narrative: Sortie 1:
We flew our assigned route in perfect formation when our CO made nme contact with the N key. We adjusted course to evade so even if that nme had the E key he could not pick us up. Did that work? nope... He instantly changed his course to intercept us. Then while still tracking him we adjusted course a few more times to no avail. I am starting to think that the UFO's that constantly plague the skies must have placed a big Neon Blinking Arrow pointing to our planes because he knew exactly where we were at N Key distances even while we changed course. That pilot was not experienced enough to have even the F key much less the N. So we nicknamed him "Eagle Eyes".
Anyway Ol' Eagle Eyes in a SPAD managed to gain on us and tried to engage our formation to no avail for about 15 minutes. We then managed to lose him where even the E key would not pick him up. Then our CO spotted an enemy bomber with the E Key which he decided to attack and Ol' Eagle Eyes once again on N key but way back on our 6.
CO and XO dived on the bomber I dove and provided overwatch. When lowe and behold. Here comes Ol' Eagle Eyes firing at me. I mean How the heck did he see us? We were below 2000 and had not fired a single shot or left a smoke trail. Must have been those UFO's with that neon sign. Anyway after about a minute another SPAD joined in to attack me. I successfully evaded for awhile when I decided to just put down. While going down I lost my Upper Wings but the plane was still flyable. I got around 50 feet when a shot from the SPAD hit and instantly killed my pilot.
So Im dead.

narrative: Followed by tenatious pair of SPAD7 - apparently led by "the eagle-eyed belgian" - who managed to spot us at extreem n key range and, despite our losing him, find us again and pursue. This he did even though we altered course a number of times.
While draging the two Spads far behind us, I spotted a lonely 2 seater at low alt. #5 had asked me to promice him the first bomber so I ordered him to attack. #5 was just out of vis range and didnt see the command. I knew we only had a couple minutes drop on those two spads so I ordered a general attack and I dived.
Unfortunately, I seemed to have been the only one to do so. I got the RE8 just inside his lines but he smashed to bits on landing. As for my men, only Schwalbe caught up to me. vonBlur was no where to be seen. later, we were to learn that the eagle-eyed Belgian downed him. I still don't understand how that happened as we were all tight together. However, I clearly made a big error in judgment trying to grab that 2 seater and I should have just let it go.
Later, we got into a big mix up with those same two Spads. The same eagle-eyed belgian spotted me at low level - again at extreem range - while he himself was in the middle of a battle on the other side of the map with Schwalbe (amazing for a pilot who only has the hat switch to see with - this guy should get a medal!). Not only was he able to see me, he could psychicly sense that I was an enemy aircraft!!! Amazing!
Anyway, ol' eagle eyes extracated himself from Shwalbe and dived down on me - having no trouble picking me out of the mud (despite the fact that I still couldn't tell what kind of aircraft was directly ahead of me and on its way home).
I turned around and headed back to my lines - having not fired a single shot.
Schwalbe and I got into a big battle with Eagle Eyes - who had pounced me - and another Spad. A harriot seemed to wander in at some point to.
I saw Schwalbe put 200 or so rounds into Eagle Eyes who was riding my ass and then Eagle Eyes stalled, flipped on his back and crashed. Immediately, another Spad came right up behind Schwalbe. This guy was apparently not Eagle-Eyed because he ran smack into Schwalbe's backside. Fortunately, Schwalbe was able to land but the Spad was not.
That left me with the Harriot and now an N17. I dicided the stakes were too rich for my blood and put my aircraft down in friendly territory (right beside Schwalbe) under fire from the Harriot.
Marko then came along and made quick work of the N17 - flaming it. The Harriot headed for home.
Can't say as I was sad to see eagle-eyes go down. But I hope that his replacement does not carry the same genetic abnormality!

narrative: Sir,
I apologize for not reporting sooner but it seems are troops are massing for an attack and all vehicles have been port forth for this effort. I must say I enjoyed my stay with the gentlemen in the trenches. Most of the comforts of the airfield where found in these elaborate structures.
To more serious matters. After engaging 2 spads early in our flight, my albatros suffured some mechanical trouble and I landed at Wervica. After fixing the problem I took to the air to search for my flight. I found a pilot from J27 and eventually found everyone else. We then came across the two spads that had harrassed us earlier in the day. My CO spotted a two seater low and engaged. A spad took notice and dove to attack. My CO seeing the threat immedately turned for our lines. I dove to engage as the second spad became part of the fray. I fired a long burst into the spad directly behind my CO. He then pulled back on the stick colliding with my machine and destroying the prop. Apparently, as I have been told by my friends in the trenches, another spad also struck my machine at almost the same time. My engine now dead, I managed to land my plane just behind our lines. Our troops waved at me frantically to get out so I made my way directly for our trenches. I saw my CO's plane land but I could not find him later that evening.
I am happy to report back to the field and that I am well and looking forward to serving the Fatherland again.

narrative: Arrived at the base late, so I took to the skies alone. I decided to fly to another base and check things out. When I arrived the sirens were blasting so I just cirlced around the area getting some alt. Luckily I saw 3 dots headed towards me. I was even luckier when I finally realized they weren't going to attack me. I couldn't make any ID out on them and was sure too afraid to get close enough to do so. Finally I stuck to ones tail and ID'd him as Pendragon. What a relief to be on one of my commanders tails. Me, Pen, Ish, and Schwalbe continued flying around when Pen had engine troubles. A spad decided to give us other 3 some fun flying times and bothered us. As I couldn't ID anything or keep directions straight worth a hoot, I was totally lost trying to find anyone. I was finally able to see something down low so I dove and turned to make sure I didn't lose too much alt. Once again, I was lost and couldn't find the dot anymore. Sheesh, I was getting mad! Then I noticed gunfire coming from the east side of the mud. Again I swooped into action, this time I was able to ID Pen and #6 dueling. Seeing that my XO had #6 on his tail I swooped in just behind the EA. I was able to get a few good shots in. 6 pulled a complete loop and I decided to do it too. I wasn't going to let him get the best of me. I couldn't get a shot on him coming out of the loop and he started another one. I almost didn't do it thinking I didn't have the speed. But what the hay! On top of the loop he turned over and headed different direction, as I tugged on my stick to do the same. I was totally out of energy and fluttered in a different direction. When I regained complete control I noticed 6 to my 10oclock. I turned onto his tail again and laid into the trigger on my gun. This time just as he pulled into another loop I hit his gas tank and it exploded immediately. I had finally put a fatal bullet into the allied craft. Still shaking violently(not kidding here folks) I made my way back to base and landed no aded to the tavern for a dose of nerve calmer. S! all and good night!

narrative: Took off with Pen, doom looming over our heads as our mission was to escort two bombers deep into enemy territory. The two of us proceeded to our rendezvous with the bombers and then headed to our destination attaining alt as we flew. Over the allied drome of our destination, Pen noticed an n11. We dove to attack. I saw a blip high overhead so as I noticed that Pen was in control of the fight I capped him. He straffed the ea as he landed his plane. As I was circling, I was straffed by AA, a few shots. I took a bullet to the lower thigh then my plane took a bullet in the engine instantly flaming me. I exited the game.

Claims: #8 n17(forced to land at his aero) #17,2seater destroyed
narrative: escorted bombers to tgt, not long after a lone n17 made for them, intercepted and saw a Hd1 higher, decided to force the n17 down and did. Then promptly lost all my friends. Fuches apparently was flammed by AA gunners!! I feel very responsible for this, as it is dangerous to force an enemy down at his base...however i felt i needed to take the n17(#8) out of the fight.
As i flew for my lines I spotted an enemy high above me, then quickly lost him. He appeared again but shortly after got out of my visual range. I surmised this was probably a enemy recon/bomber trying to find a way past me. i was way to low to pursue so i climbed east and lo and behold he showed up again, this time I swung behind his path and cut off retreat then pursued him. as i was getting close I meched $%$%. Screaming at my mechanics seemed to help get the machine back in the air and I guess one of his tgts was roulers depot. So i climbed there and waited to see if he had the gutz to continue his mission. Well he did to his credit and I bouced him then shot him down the brave bugger(#17).
Later I hooked up with ish and meched while pursuing multiple EA. After getting in the air again I went to the front and saw ish and one of his men in the dirt getting strafed. I dove on the two strafers and got into a 2 VS me dogfight. Slowly my enemies were wearing away at my alt advantage when MARKO showed up and saved my ass. Flaming the n17(#6) that stayed to fight(the HD1 ran away).
I owe him a huge Keg of Bier.

Claims: bombed bridges 233 & 231
narrative: Took off with CO as escorts arrived. Flew to target briidges. CO having troubles with his crate enroute. Bombed and damaged bridge, but CO having major problems with his plane. Spotted an aircraft to our south and saw J27 drive him to a nearby drome. It appeared one of our planes was flamed by AA fire, never saw the other one again. Chased after CO who had headed north till he meched. I then turned for the closest drome. Spotting a plane to the SW and thinking it the remainder of the escort, I turned toward it to find it was a Hanriot! The HD1 persued me to depot 191 and broke off - landed at Coxyde, and came after me again without refueling or rearming. He followed me into NML and finally broke off half way across. I landed at Ghistelles, topped up the tanks, loaded my now empty guns, and watched for friendly fighters.
After some time I took of to attack bridge 231. Line up was bad on the first pass and as I lined up for a pass from west to east, a quick scan spotted something high to the South, undoubtably that #5 Hanriot again! I made my pass, dropped the bombs. 2 hits dropped one span and damaged other parts of the bridge and I kept on going for Ghistelles.
My friend in the Hanriot dropped onto my tail before I reached the front and we dueled furiously until my engine caught fire. I crashed attempting to land in NML.
