narrative: Sortie 1:
I'll spare the boring 40 mins and go to the good part as they were uneventful. Spotted 2 flights of enemy aircraft in the lower end of the map but did not engage. We then tried to "stalk" one flight but lost them and could not find them again.
Sortie 2:
Patrolled front lines but did not encounter any other craft.
Thats it.
Note to Base Maintenance Officer:
I would like to tell you I was very pleased with my flight mechanics and maintenance technicians. The craft flew perfectly. S!

narrative: Followed Haupt. Ishmael through two patrols. Though he signaled for enemy aircraft, I spotted none. I breifly caught of glimpse of a Jasta 27 Albatross, but other than the others in my flight, this was the only AC I saw in flight. We were never able to link up with the other flight as per orders. Returned safely to our aerodrome at the end of our patrols.

Squadron: Jasta 27
Aircraft: Albatros D.Va
AircraftStatus: ok
TimeIn: 1 hour+
narrative: I arrived at my new post this morning. I was late to the field but my men waited patiently for my arrival. We took off and proceeded to escort friendly machines. During our flight we saw 3 belgian aircraft above us but did not attack. We then followed our machines over enemy territory but encountered no resistance. On the way back we saw a lone spad machine flee one of our fields. We then landed and I immediatley recieved a telegram that one of my pilots was forced down behind our lines. Apparently his machine gave him trouble and he was late getting off. I am happy to say that he is in fine spirits.

narrative: Encountered a flight of 3 nme scouts after landing to refuel. Were flying about wondering if they were going to pounce when 4 friends showed up high also. NME's departed. Flew a long mission over nme territory. Encountered an NME plane low on the return flight. We decided for fuel reasons not to engage. Landed and refueled. Took off as sirens sounded. Flew north and spotted smoke near one of our bases. Got close enough to see an NME plane running for home. Landed without further incident.

TimeIn: -1 hour
narrative: Was attacked over Armentieres at a hight of 4K+ by two SPAD's and a Hanriot. They proceeded to drive me down and I landed near the town and dashed into one of the near by cottages. My injuries were administered to by the inhabitants one of whick was a quit striking girl. After they had strafed my plane I went out and surveyed the damage and saw where they had managed to put several nice holes in the top wing and shoot up my prop. The plane was unflyable and I called HQ and requested a lorry and a ride for myself. I saw two numbers on the top of wings. One was a #18 or #19 and the other was a #20.

narrative: CO was having problems with his crate so we kept Jasta 27 waiting a little bit. Headed to refueling drome and after take-off spotted enemy aeroplanes high overhead. Continued mission once we lost contact with the EA. No contacts at all enroute to target area - for a while, not even with our escorts! Finally contacted escorts high overhead at the front on the way out! Jasta 27 landed and we continued on. Encountered a SPAD (20) at a friendly drome who attacked the CO's crate and sped off. CO landed at drome and after making sure of that I dropped down as well. The SPAD circled a bit, fired some flares, which I answered with flares of my own, did some loops trailing smoke and headed away west. Seconds later Friendly planes planes from both neighboring Jastas arrived overhead.
