Hudson #6
alive
flew DH-4 for the 19th
enemy engaged: yes
hit targets drom 12 drom 13 drom 18

Left our home drom with Coltron and flew to drom #12. Took 2 passes to line up, but with the first bombed dropped had a direct hit on the middle hanger on the north side that was instantly destroyed. Returned to base to refuel and grab more bombs. Went to drom #13. Took about 5 passes but finially had a direct hit on the 4th north hanger that was destroyed. Flew back to an allied drom to refuel. When the five minutes was almost up, started to hear sirens. Took off when the mechanics got done and started heading north. Then a hun plane started firing at me. Not even sure who it was, heard that if don't look back can run faster ;o) Pointed my nose down and started placing distance between myself and the enemy. Saw a friendly plane above me. Thought it could be a spad. Started lighting flares and climbing toward the plane. Realized it was Colton, and he was flying way from the huns. Went ahead and flew to drom #18. Droped all my bombs and only hit the corners of hanger causing multiple fires. Flew to a friendly drom and got some more bombs. Flew back to #18 and quickly hit the middle north hanger which went down. Time was about to run out of the session, so I was returning home and then timed out.

Hit enemy drome #20..damaged confirmed

My report this week is short and sweet. Flew to target, using cloud cover to my advantage, after several passes I noticed several buildings burning fiercly, so I, satisfyingly but cautiously returned to friendly airspace....

name and #: #4 Fuches
type of plane: Spad VIII
engaged enemy: yes
in server for how long: full duration
targets hit: one kill (18)
witnesses: Dawson (3)

We took off from base at 9:14 game time. Circled and headed south. As we approached the next airfield I saw AA tracers. Both Dawson(3) and myself circled to gain alt and then we saw #18. We approached on his six. First Dawson then myself put a few rounds into him. He then dived. We regained our comfortable position on his six. Again Dawson placed a few shots into him followed by myself. I was gainging too much speed on #18 so I banked and circled around. Dawson was still popping shots to slow him down. I entered into a good pocket as Dawson gained some alt and placed a couple of rounds into the hun. Then I hear #18 scream his last scream. One of my bullets pierced his helmut and down goes 18. Dawson and I then head west away from the mud. We head south to check out the targets there. The rest of the flight was uneventful. No enemy sighted. We landed refueled I got the mechanic to look at my stick and we took off. Heading south we circle over a target hearing sirens. Nothing. We must have just missed the hun. After that the flight was uneventful. Dawson would periodically dive and gain alt. I think just to make sure I was awake. After a while we headed home and landed.

Sir,

Departed from home base at 2110 hours with pilot #6. Proceeded to base "#15" where I managed to destroy one Hangar. Possibly damaged another, couldn't tell.

As I approached home base, I observed one enemy aircraft speeding away from there low and fast over C3_4. Judging by his current direction of travel, it appeared he was heading towards base "#14". I decided to refuel at base "x" instead, in case there was another sortie heading my way.

After refueling, I proceeded to base "#14". On the way, I heard sirens between bases "8" and "9". Didn't know which they were coming from.

I made several passes on base "#14" and everytime I noticed enemies on the runway. They must have been bombers because nobody seemed to come after me. On my very first pass I hit two hangars. I was lined up rather well. They appeared to be direct hits, but I could not confirm the DESTRUCTION of them. They DEFINATELY appeared to be burning quite nicely though. :-) I managed to hit one more hangar, setting it well ablaze.

After a while, I observed an aircraft approaching me from my 12 O'Clock low, so I decided that I'd pressed my luck far too long (I'd spent a good deal of time over that base, appears very active), so I returned to base and called it a night.

Respectfully Submitted,
Sgt Samuel Colton, US27

Witnessed Fuches #4 shoot down #18

I rolled out on the field to find only Fuches waiting for a late start. Seems like some flu bug must have gotten to our flyers. We sat on the field awhile deciding what to do when sirens started going off so we got airborne looking for enemy machines. We circled and gained altitude for awhile until I saw a lone Hun headed for the mud and back to safety. I dove down on him and started shooting putting lead into his fuselage. Eventually I had to turn off and go around for another run. Fuches came in after me and also began firing on him before turning off. On my second run I slowed a little to give myself more time on the target when suddenly I saw Fuches come right in over my head to deliver the killing shot. Almost gave me a crewcut.

We went north after that looking for additional enemy planes but saw nothing. Later we returned to base for rearming and refueling and decided to head south. We were down around Drome 8 and could hear sirens but saw nothing. The one sighting turned out to be friendly #15. We headed still further south and then headed briefly across the mud to enemy territory and finally north, following the mud line hoping to catch someone on their way home. We got all the way up to drome 1 before heading home to call it a day.
