Holy Grail Files!!

More major breakthroughs came this week when Rebs_Rens came up with a method to crack the RB.vol files. I've decompressed the files and will begin posting them here for your convience.

This batch of files comes from the RBshell.vol, and are all bitmaps used in the SP portion of the game. I've converted them from Phoenix BMPS to normal BMPs, but haven't got the foggiest idea of the palettes that should be applied to them. If they prove to be of any use, and if someone tells me which palette they need I might convert them to make it easier for the graphically challenged.

More Shell Bitmaps .......There are a large assortment of miscelanious bitmaps included in this zip. You'll find everything from paper to the boxes used for medal displays.

 

 

We now have the greatest tool to ever reach the RB world and I mean that literally! We have the original TED Editor used to create the 3D world of Red Baron! With it you can change every aspect of the landscape over which we fly, from the height of the mountains to the terrain bmps used to cover the ground. I have to warn you the program can be quirky! By that I mean it can be unstable at times, given to fits of crashing when you do something wrong. The interface is not what you would call polished, but it works!

This download contains all of the files neccesary to run the editor. All you need are copies of the original baron#.ted files so you have something to play with. If you have any questions please feel free to write me or start a new thread on my forum, or the SWWISA forum. Working together we can find out how this thing works and create totally new terrain for our battles!

 

After months of work "Devils Island" is a reality! Devils Island is a compliation of new MMP landmarks that include

1) More AA sites all across the map.

2)Balloons at each of the bases.

3)New towns, bridges, rail stations

4) New 3d trees just about everywhere!

Everything works this is not just a graphics patch or object replacement scheme. The balloons reel in under an attack! The AA all shoot, and if you get too close the trees will knock you out of the air like a giant fly swatter. It works in secure or non secure servers and it works using RBII/Superpatched or RB3d. So take a look at whats possible in the future of RB's MMP world.

This FM is almost Done! This is the kind of FM that Sierra should have built for us in the first place. No Ubers, real stalls that you can recover from and decent plane match ups built in from top to bottom. I've done everything I can to insure that this FM is not only fair for both sides, but that it's as accurate as possible. So go have some fun!

The same Zepplin hanger this time with the generic gray balloon. The dts/dml files are named to replace the Large Hanger. I'll be providing a list that covers all the different ground object names soon for your easy reference in renaming these files.

My first Zepplin Hanger to be released! This one has the generic brown balloon inside and is named to replace the Large Hanger normally found on your dromes.

This generic gray balloon is the first of many replacements for standard ground objects. The dts/dml set is named to replace the Large Hanger, but they can of course be renamed to replace any other ground object you care to try.

You'll find the Flight model, Damage model, and Acspec files needed to utilize the full capabilities of these new and interesting models.
