Guns for use in RB3D models

guns.an8 contains models for 3 types of common machine guns found on WWI aircraft; the Vickers MK1, LMG 08/15 or "Spandau", and the Lewis Gun.  There are two types of Lewis mount included.  The French tripod and the Foster as used on Nieuport 17s flown by British squadrons.  All the guns are in 7.12 scale

The best way to include one of these weapons in your model is to add the textures, parts, and materials via WordPad.  Do be sure to back-up your model's file before doing any editing!

The models are design to give a good impression of the gun they represent - not to be a detailed model.  More details would detract from game play without adding anything of real value considering the small size of these models.

Note that the bit of the Foster mount that extends below the wing should be "joined" to the upper wing center sections .ka and .kb to prevent collisions - see enclosed guns.jpg

I plan to do some rear-gun mounts, the Parabellum, and the Hotchkiss MGs, and the SE5's Foster mount.
