RAF BE12
The BE2 series formed the backbone of the English observation corps in 1916. The 12 was the scout version which suffered from all the problems of it's 2-seat cousins, despite the loss of the weight of an observer and his Lewis gun. In fact, the BE12 was even more vulnerable because of it.
