Nieuport 17 "Super Bebe"
An evolutionary improvement over its predeccessor, the Nieuport 11. Slightly larger and more powerful, it was faster than the "Bebe" while still retaining great agility. The French version of this machine was armed with a deck mounted Vickers machine gun, giving it somewhat more punch than the wing mounted Lewis.
